Biking Round Butleigh

A wonderfully crisp cold morning for a bike ride across the Levels towards the village of Butleigh and back along the lane that runs underneath Street Hill, from where the this view of the Cedar Avenue, with Glastonbury Tor in the distance far left, was taken. The Cedar Avenue used to run all the way from the Butleigh home of Admiral Hood's family to the monument on Street Hill that commemorates his achievements and has featured in a couple of my previous blips.

Still revelling in the excitement of Yeovil's incredible (in both senses!) win away at Sheffield Utd yesterday. Chris made his second away coach trip of the week to watch it and reckons the 12 hour return trip was well worth it.

More Tor large.
