Life on the Good Intent

In a Big Country

Stirling sits on the junction between the lowlands and highlands of Scotland, the flatlands of the Carse contrast with the not so distant mountains with their fresh covering of snow. The iconic Stirling Castle sits atop of the geological anomaly that threw up the impressive intrusive crag from which I took this.
A fine vantage point today, somehow this shot reminds me of another country across the Atlantic.
