Lucky 13

Took the train out to Norwich today to meet my newest godson. Lucky number thirteen. It's so lovely to have a brand new baby in our lives. Little Ruben made a very dramatic entrance into the world 10 weeks early. A very impressive 4.5 lbs for 30 weeks.  It has all been a little scary but things are definitely improving. His Mama finally got to hold him yesterday. She has been aching to feel him in her arms. 

Really wanted to capture this precious moment. The room is kept in almost complete darkness and they were tucked in the corner behind the machinery so didn't have much success. Still so glad to have this image of the new boy.
