parachute fun...

Today we discussed outdoor play and did a lot of different games we can do with young children!  I had been given this parachute by the team from Ireland who came in August so I brought it out!  None of them had ever seen one and as you can see we spent a lot of time outside and it was really hot, so sweat was running down everyone's faces by the time we had finished!  A few kids heard the screams and laughter and all came to join in!

I had some materials to give to the teachers so I put them in piles, put numbers on the piles and then got each teacher to pick a number.  The only man won the parachute, so Muyombe in Northern Zambia will be having fun at their school!
