Wednesday 18 April 2007: 1912 Mack Truck...
This is a 1912 Mack Bull Dog 5 truck I came upon during a photo shoot at the Robson's Mines well west of Wickenburg, Az. It was made before the hydraulic system was invented.
It is a chain-driven dump-truck! It hauled cement up the Apache Trail for the Theodore Roosevelt Dam and bears the slogans: "Performance Counts" and "The Greatest Name in Trucks."
