A familiar place

For the final two weeks of my trip, I am back in very familiar country. A couple of days with friends in Liverpool, then I'll head down to my brother and his family in Dorset for Christmas.

Having spent a bit of time in Liverpool before, there is no pressure to do all the things. A lazy morning followed by a river cruise, lunch and a peer into the insides of an u-boat at one of the cruise stops, then watching the weather cross the city from the shelter of a largely empty boat. Our plans for the pub were abandoned in favour of spending the rest of the afternoon with books, tea, and sofas, then an evening watching Star Wars: The Last Jedi in preparation for this evening's trip to see the last instalment.
