New Year's Eve ceilidh

Last night I played for a New Year's eve ceilidh in Chester.  It was a community event with a packed hall and full dance floor.  The food was good too as it was a "bring a dish" buffet.

The only downside was that it was freezing cold where we were playing. It was a hall without a stage and very draughty where we were sitting.  The melodeon player ended up playing in his coat and scarf but I couldn't bring myself to do that!

A very happy New Year and decade to all blippers. It's been quite a year on a number of fronts, some things good and some less so. Let's hope that 2020 will be a good year!
