Winter View from the Dock

My regular visitors will remember this scene, as I've posted pictures of it before.

October 17: dock with autumn foliage.

November 27: first skiff of snow.

And on this date: full winter. The snow is fresh from the recent Tuesday night/Wednesday morning snowfall - about 4 to 6 inches.

The pond is frozen over and covered in snow. The little rowboat has been removed from the pond and is lying upside-down on the far bank.

Beneath the snow and ice, the pond is sleeping.
