East Gate

As a kid growing up in Africa, I was always obsessed by this medieval city entrance when I spent my school holidays at my grandparents in Holland.

They lived really close to this beautiful east gate, so I must have passed it a thousand times walking to the city.

There are two magic moments to shoot this. At dawn and at dust. This is the latter with the last rays of sunlight touching it.
