Homeless

There's a homeless community in our local park. They shelter around the buildings of the old brick works. I wouldn't have taken this photo if anyone had been there but the things people gather around them tell a story.

Members of this community try to keep themselves fed, manage their refuse, try to stay warm and dry, and some drink alcohol. So do we.

I'd rather this picture wasn't there to be taken. We don't do a good job of emergency or low cost housing. No excuse.
