Muscle Car Madness.....

.....celebrates its 30th anniversary.

The show began in 1990 after a Rolleston car enthusiast and collector visited our small town and decided our showgrounds would be an excellent venue for a 'weekend get-together' for fellow car enthusiasts. The first gathering attracted 44 cars. Today, 30 years on, the rally reaches the thousand mark regularly, this year 2000 cars enthusiasts are expected.

Tonight there was an Anniversary Cruise through the town with approximately 300 cars and some trucks taking part. Over the weekend the public are invited to view the cars, listen to bands and enjoy the atmosphere - a great family event.

It's not often we have such events in our small town, I just had to wander down and take some shots.
