It was a wonderful wedding day of stately homes, picturesque country castles and fifteenth century churches, but my overriding memory will undoubtedly be this chap and his consistent ability to lower the tone. Well done, Alan.
The memory I'll be making every effort to eradicate from my mind, on the other hand, is this.
