cheaper than cocaine

I've only recently learned that Mexican drug cartels are taking over the Mexican avocado industry. (Apparently this has been going on for a few years. https://www.theguardian.com/global-development/2019/dec/30/are-mexican-avocados-the-worlds-new-conflict-commodity) I'm afraid that I'll have to replace avocados with something else, so that I don't support the cartels. Suggestions?
