A Meeting of Michiganders

We left Robert and Linda's place in Palm Beach a little after 8...in search of a castle...Solomon's Castle in Ona, Florida.

We were meeting up with 5 friends from our church at home, along with 2 other friends that are in St. Petersburg.

The castle was built by a man named Harold Solomon, who liked to take "junk", and turn it into art...mostly out of metal and wood. He really was quite crafty, and had a great imagination.

It's always good to see friends in a different setting other than home.

On the bench on the right are Steve, Cindy, Dee, Walt, Lisa, and Linda,
while Tim and Bobby are on the left.

After the tour, on our way home...we saw a "herd" of 10 turkey buzzards enjoying a dead raccoon. I couldn't resist putting two of the birds on Tim and Steve.

A wide shot of the castle is in the extras. The outside was covered with old newspaper tintype.

P.S. A big happy birthday wish to both my wife Lisa and son Jeff. Love you both.
