Wanderings & Witterings

Peter

Having spent most of Friday afternoon and evening catching up with friends and putting the world to rights over several beers in Glasgow city centre it was a slow start to Saturday. A long lie-in and lazy morning filled with good intentions that never quite came to fruition.

By noon, though, I had garnered enough energy to leave the house and go for a walk. I decided to take the bus back into Glasgow and then another down to Dalmarnock Bridge. From there I followed the River Clyde Walkway back into the city centre, stopping off at the People's Palace in Glasgow Green for coffee.

This bronze statue of Peter Pan (and, yes, that is the moon in the background) sits atop another weathered stone sculpture called alternatively Children at Play or Springtime.
