Day 037/20. Baggage hold

A visit to the aircraft museum today for other reasons.
But I can never resist taking my camera and seeking a shot I've never got before.
This is the freight/baggage hold on our Short Sandringham flying boat. Of course it was not all slopping around in there, the bags were netted down.
Way back in the tail, in its WWII Sunderland form, there would be a gunner manning the tail gun turret. A very lonely position to have in wartime.
