Lovely Wet Nose ....

.... all the better to smell with.

We have five million olfactory receptors. Deer have two hundred and fifty million and their wet noses enhance their sense of smell. I snatched this shot of a muntjac doe through a gap in disused greenhouse number thirteen. Later in the day old Reynard was in the same position.

I took Ollie dog for another hydrotherapy session and she wasn't as scared. We went for a nice exploratory ride through the Hertfordshire countryside afterwards.
