A day for all seasons!

The only thing we've lacked today is the warmth of Summer!

Sunshine to start the day though extremely windy ..... followed by rain ...... then hail ...... then a full on blizzard with huge snowflakes!

I did manage .... just about ...... to capture one of the snowflakes as it landed on the window (left image) ...... the snow even tried to settle (right image) ...... though it was far too wet after the storm yesterday & the earlier rain for it to last!

Apologies for the dirty window ..... note to self .... must clean it!

As for Storm Ciara having said ..... when I blipped yesterday ...... that it seemed to have passed & things had calmed down ...... I was wrong! She came back for an encore early evening ...... just as ferocious as earlier!

Thankfully we got off fairly lightly with no real problems ...... unlike some other parts of the UK who have flooding & a lot of damage .... hope you are all safe!
