Gate by the River Wey

Funny how blips turn out. This was supposed to be a goat - that was the mission. Then it was a bit of witch-hazel, then a robin came up close, demanding to have its picture taken. In the end I went for this gate by the River Wey at Pyrford. I really was - still am - torn between colour and monochrome. Loaded B&W, switched to colour, then switched back. Call me indecisive.

I did like the Robin. It fed from my hand.

Earlier, walking through some silver birches, I saw a kestrel take a song bird, heard it first. All over very quickly. It's tough out there.

I took quite a few pics today and I've been processing a few images tonight. I like the screen print effect with these bullrushes.
