The walled garden

Spring flowers are pushing their way through the soil in Brockwell Park's walled garden, which is a lovely quiet spot to stay awhile. Fred suggested a walk before the Storm Dennis arrived. We got as far as the Electric Cafe, which tempted us in for second breakfast. Fuelled up, we rambled to Brockwell Park, walked in a loop and delighted at the antics of a yellow-jersey-wearing chihuahua called Elton. He was fast and said hello to all the dogs.

The storm arrived as I was chatting to the ladies in Zero Waste Sustenance and they were topping up tupperware with pasta, laundry liquid and dried fruit.

The rest of the day was spent trying to entertain a housebound cat who really doesn't like the wind.
