Yellow Bellied Sap Sucker (Sphyrapicus varius)

I had an awesome time in my backyard today. Saw and photographed a hawk, three different types of woodpeckers, cardinals, blue jays, doves, sparrows, mockingbirds, robins, and various other critters.

I blipped this photograph because I do not believe that the Yellow Bellied Sap Sucker is on the BlipBigYear list... The male has a red throat while the female does not. Let's see what the judges say... : ))
