Mendip snowbound

My 30 mile journey home normally takes a little over an hour - tonight I chose the wrong route and it took just over 6 hours, mostly waiting in the snow for my go at the long hills on the A37. Kilver hill into Shepton Mallet was fun, I set off slowly, the anti-lock brakes clattering away and realised I couldn't stop, despite going slowly enough that a man walking down the hill overtook me!
Anyway got fish and chips at the bottom of the hill and then followed this tanker home. This photo was waiting to have a run at Doulting Hill, the last difficult one.
Some nights it is good to be home.
