Windy

Today we drove an hour to this national park and pitched our tent for the night at the campsite. It's known for its beautiful beaches but on the way in we saw a nice hill to climb called Frenchman's peak. I had a bit of knee pain climbing it but it gave us great views and we planned a few beaches to visit afterwards. From the top you could also see how the road had acted as a fire break preventing the whole park from being decimated by wildfire (not in the photo).

We stopped off at a few of the beaches one was too big and exposed (and I pranged my car a bit), the other was gorgeous but too crowded for how remote we were, the final one was the most beautiful and only a couple of others there! We took the surfboards down and tried to surf, challenging but fun!

Back to the campsite for a shower, camp food with the kangaroos and an evening hike.
