Ventilation on the Navigation

Staying in Northants with the BIL. As it was a nice day, though cold, we went for a drive. Not much to take pics of but I thought this would make a reasonable blip. It’s one of the ventilation shafts for the Blisworth Tunnel on the Grand Union Canal.

And for the birders among you, also saw a red kite while we were out, and a little egret on a nearby field when we got back. Neither particularly common, and my first sighting of the egret.
