When will it end?

Still no signs of a thaw around here. I was out taking photos of lichens on tree trunks, both colour and forms positively jewel-like in the relentlessly smooth white-grey landscape we are now getting used to. However, when the sun appeared for about five minutes I couldn't resist taking yet another snow-sky-scape. At times I was not quite sure which was the horizon today.
