Two Eggs

Saw these when walking our dog, I think they must be from one of the ducks that live in the pond. A bit weird there is not a nest though.

Btw have you ever noticed the mating behaviour of ducks? One female duck gets chased by four or five male ducks and if they can, they all have a go. Even when they're in the pond, the female just gets pushed underwater. I wonder how much pleasure this gives her...
