You asked for it

... you got it. More vines! It wasn't really my intention, but we were getting a bit stir-crazy staying at home and working. We didn't even go to the market yesterday -- too cold, and not so interesting when the Tira-Tap is closed.

It was a nice day, so we decided to go to La Table du Château for lunch. We very rarely go to Bizanet, so as we set off there was some discussion as to the best route. It's always good for a laugh using a satnav in places you know well. Once Nora the satnav eventually found a signal she gave us a direction we thought so extraordinary that we stopped to look at a (paper) map. Whereupon there were comments along the lines of, "You mad old bat, why would we go that way?" Nora is short for "Just ignore 'er", so we did. We turned out to be not much better than she was at navigating. We discovered quite a few roads we'd never been along before in 15 years of living here. "Are you sure we can drive down here? It looks very narrow." "Oh! A ford! How exciting!"

Still, we got there in the end, and lunch was very nice. We had a look at Google maps and tested the GPS on the smartphone for the first time on the way back. This resulted in a much more direct route, in the course of which we stopped to admire this view. Here endeth the story of today's blip.

Edit: and on this day last year, I blipped a mazet in the vines!
