Beckside Golf Course

Mr P did a pretend 9 holes of golf round our local course which we can walk to, just 300m away. It is closed so I thought it safe to wander round with my camera. This is the farmer who made the golf course on his land about 20+ years ago; all farmers need a second source of income. There is no club house, just  a table and chairs on which  you can relax with your flask and sandwiches at the end. Fortunately for the farmer, Mr P had just paid his annual subscription before the course closed.

In a parallel world without the coronavirus we would have driven to St Bees today for Mr P to start walking the Coast to Coast with me as his support in a car.  We planned to end up in Robin Hood Bay for Easter to talk part in the annual easter orienteering competition. Which of course has been cancelled, there is no accommodation en-route and we are not allowed to drive to St Bees. So we "stayed home , to protect the NHS and save lives".

Day 17
Our cleaner can't come to our house. Its non essential work. For the first time in years we cleaned our own house.
