Aperture on Life

Spring Garden

Primroses, forget-me-nots, bluebells and the last of the narcissus, littered with the fallen petals of the Magnolia tree above.
This was all coming into bloom when I first came here last year.

A friend and I were looking after an extraordinary woman, Jean, who was 99 years of age. She loved her garden and we've have spent many happy hours here.

Sadly, Jean died in January, the house is empty but we still come here regularly to look after it for the family and It feels a bit like home.

Sitting on the lawn, whilst the dogs check out the familiar territory is bringing back many memories that will surely remain forever.
