Millenium Tapestry

Like many churches, to celebrate the millennium, we made a tapestry representing all the church activities, each square was designed and stitched by a church member.

Mine (the upper square to the right of the central panel) represents the choir, with our red gowns, pendant for the Methodist Music Society and singing Cantate Domino (We sing to the Lord), which was always sung at the beginning of our concerts, as our signature tune.

This is one of the few artefacts from our old church that is permanently on display.
