Day 31: ANZAC DAY..... Lest we Forget...

Today’s early morning view of the sunrise at the Taylor River echos the red of the ANZAC poppies, the red poppies in Flanders Fields and the blood shed by service folk and civilians in many world wars.
Due to the Alert Level Four Nationwide Lockdown the traditional ANZAC Day services held up and down the country, in small towns and cities have not been able to be held. However as a special alternative folk were encouraged to stand at their front gates and driveways to observe one minutes silence at 6.am this morning. And Keith and I along with tens of thousands of people turned out to remember the fallen and the sacrifices made by many during many wars. Lest we forget.
