The Going Down Of The Sun:

Anzac day was honoured so differently today, the usual Anzac day parade with ex servicemen and their families was cancelled weals ago, with social distancing and large gatherings also banned, the Australian and New Zealand communities gathered together on their own driveways with candles..
We took our candles and stood at our gate, along with a few other neighbours, we could see their candles flicker between the trees at 5.45am just before dawn, also a bugle was playing the last post, on our Daughters street they had a lone bagpiper playing, It sounded and felt rather special this year hearing the Anthems played from both countries.
According the the news this evening neighbourhoods turned out in their hundreds.
"standing together, but standing alone"
It seemed fitting tonight that the sunset was particularly spectacular.
