Signs of autumn

It's been a lovely sunny day today............warm so long as you were in the sun but markedly cooler in the shade.

Did the usual Saturday morning washing and, whilst I was hanging it out, I noticed how quickly the autumn colours have moved into the grape leaves.

Did a bit of housework too which felt good! It seems to have been neglected lately and I'm really not a fan of untidy.

Mid-afternoon I headed out to Kina Peninsula where a friend was having a small gathering to celebrate his 40th. Quite a few people were camping overnight out there but, being a bit of a softie, I decided not to.

All in all a very peaceful Saturday.
