Not so dry after all

Up to 3 days ago they were talking about this being the driest April for years and we had only recorded just over 6mm of rain for the month.
Since then it has rained heavily for two out of three days and the current total is not a record in any way. This year the maximum day’s rainfall was only 10.2mm.
In the last six years the highest rainfall in April was in 2016 at 54.6mm for the month and the wettest day was 25th April 2015 with 16.8mm. The lowest rainfall was 14.4mm in 2017.
