TRAVEL DAY

to The Hague. Our first stop in Göttingen, one hour. The man in the blipfoto was interested in the books of the shop. When we walk in Göttingen Piet Hein and I are sometimes greeted or looked at with a curious look: are you? it says.
Are you one of our professors and you Madame are you Frau Professor?
We simply greet back and smile. No we are not.
Göttingen is a university town of course. By Georg II founded in 1737.
With masses of history. So many houses have a sign that tell us who lived there. I always like the one of the brothers Grimm. Because they collected the fairy tales.
Piet Hein more likes the home of Husserl although he does not know where it actually was.
From Göttingen to Hannover. And from there in one train to Amersfoort. And change there too.
In The Hague we saw that Mischa's pictures that were exposed at the tramway platform almost for a year now were removed finally. She will soon receive them as promised.
Tired of course of the long journey now. And some really busy days are coming up. Why not like them?

My haiku:

A run from train to
Another and another
Coming home is good

And the proverb by Paine:

Be it ever so humble, there's no place like home.

It certainly is, but there are some wonderful places in the world too that are not home.
