Oaklands Manor

A really interesting day at Oaklands Manor which is part of the University of Derby Buxton Campus.
It offers experiences i.e. climbing, caving, abseiling, canoeing etc all fab Peak holidays and run by the university as part of their tourism prospectus.

The view from the windows is fantastic as it looks out onto the notoriously dangerous road that is the Snake Pass!
The reason I was there wasn't anything as strenuous as the above but a meeting set up by Visit Peak District about: Shaping the Future of Sustainable Tourism in the wider Peak District.
I found it fascinating and loved it.
