Today

"Today's Monday. today's Monday, Monday is washing day
Is everybody happy?  You bet your life we are!"

It seems to be washing day in Thame (lovely shadow on an ancient cottage wall).  For me Monday is shopping day.  At last the days seem to be getting some rhythm.  MrHCB came with me for the first time this morning.  Not to go to Waitrose you understand, but to have a stroll somewhere different.  Having said that, he did find a lovely Italian delicatessen that was open and came away with a carrier bag full of goodies.  I'm delighted to be able to eat something that someone else has chosen!
