My blackbird through the kitchen window

Today I felt trapped like a bird in a cage not free to fly like my regular visiting blackbird.

The weather today has bee AWFUL and although I felt trapped I was glad that there was no need for me to go out. The wind which gusted all through the night is still blowing with fair ferocity and the rain has never really stopped.

I did some serious clearing out of the drawers in the hall table .... what a lot of rubbish, including three old pairs of glasses, crammed into two drawers.

The forecast is for rain tomorrow but the wind strength should drop considerably.

Zoom with friends tonight .... good to catch up with those nearby and also south of the border.
