Saturday 14 March 2009: South Beach, Miami

The first proper day of spring break! MrsCyclops went to South Beach to admire the art deco architecture and walk on the beach! Since it's such a novelty to be able to photograph her after 9 weeks apart I can't resist blipping this!
In the afternoon we went to the Museum of Sothern Florida Life for some culture, then drove down to our next destination - Key West.
It's a spectacular drive over hundreds of small islands with connecting bridges - the longest one seven miles long. The sands were golden, the sea looked blue and inviting, and the drive gave us the chance to chat, and chat, and chat...
