Ah, the old RA17

Still working my way through all 22 Bond films (Skyfall being the 23rd). Last night I noticed that they were using the RACAL RA17 again in the radio communications room at the 'Caviar' factory run by Valentin Dmitrovich Zukovsky (Robbie Coltrane).

These were the mainstay of the RAF radio communication rooms when I worked on them 1965-78. It's always great to see them popping up.
They were also in Dr No, the MI6 radio room when Strangways got murdered and I've heard it was in the scene where Goldfinger says to Bond 'No Mr Bond, I expect you to die' !
