PC Debbie

This morning I made my way across the Kincardine Bridge to Tulliallan Police College for the Passing Out parade of Debbie and 100+ young colleagues from police forces across the country.

They were led onto the parade ground by the pipe band from the Queen Victoria School in Dunblane, and after a bit of entertaining speechifying from a couple of police bigwigs, gave a demonstration of their newly-acquired marching skills before prizes were awarded to the most outstanding trainees.

It was an impressive ceremony for the hundreds of proud family members and friends who attended, including Daughter#2 who had driven down from Aberdeen, which was an added bonus for me.

A lovely lunch in The Unicorn Inn in Kincardine was the icing on the cake.

Have a good weekend, blippers!
