Cromer Pier

It was still a bit windy this morning but we didn’t let that put us off. After a quick walk round the heath and then we set of for Cromer.
Despite all our trips here we’ve never made it to Cromer. It’s lovely!
We were a bit early for lunch at the Clifftop Cafe at Overstrand which is where we’d been heading so we parked in Cromer and walked down to the pier. It was windy but lovely and sunny.
We went into the RNLI station at the end of the pier which was fascinating. Mr K took the Little Misses in while I waited outside with Archie. I would have liked a bit longer to look at all the photos and details of rescues and the actual enormous lifeboat but I didn’t stay too long.
We walked round a bit and naturally ended up at the ice cream shop and the arcade. We do love a 2p machine!
Then it was to the cafe for lunch’s. Moby Dick fish and chips for Mr K, chilli and rice for me, bacon sandwiches and chips for the Little Misses. Delicious!!
After lunch the Little Misses headed back to Marshall while Mr K and I walked along the beach to watch the waves crashing over the groynes. It was very dramatic!
Then it started raining so we came back to the campsite. The Little Misses headed out on their bikes and got caught in a biblical downpour.
The rest of the evening was spent watching the Dark Crystal, Age of Resistance (everyone else), writing a book (me)
Nachos, baguettes, curry and rice for dinner
