Jasper sized

Jasper isn't having a good week. After successfully navigating Saturday's scare he injured himself this evening.

A cat on your knees when you're wearing bike shorts never goes well. They're too slippery and Jasper slides around and struggles to get comfortable.

With the promise of dinner he went to jump off my legs. Instead he slipped, jumped awkwardly, clipped the chair and landed in a tangle on the floor.

He cried and lay on his side. Eventually he dragged himself under a chair. Fortunately I had just enough time to get him to the vet before they closed.

He was reluctant to walk until he took the brief moment when the vet was distracted, to hide in this Jasper sized slot.

It's likely soft tissue damage in his hind leg/hip. Time will tell if there's more serious damage.

Today's gratitude: For being able to get Jasper seen locally this evening. Poor Jasper.
