distillery tower

It's one of the last buildings of the sugar industry which still remains in the fertile valley ( La Vega ) of Granada.
This factory was supplied with abundant beet and sugar cane of " La Vega" for sugar and alcohol, being emblematic of the low industrialization of Granada during the past century.

The condition is not bad at all and has a great value and heritage interest, in fact its part of the inventory of listed buildings in the city.

There have been various proposals for the enhancement of this heritage, but they have not done, so it is continually under development pressure in danger of disappearing.

Now the crisis will give a sigh.
