As if Van Gogh had visited Edinburgh

Walking up Princes Street, my eye was caught by the witches-hat silhouettes of the church towers of the west-end, against a dramatic sky at dusk on groundhog day.

The camera saw its own version, reminding me of Vincent's "starry starry night" painting of a café in Montmartre.

Sometimes I think a blurry night shot can have a lot of charm, like an impressionist painting.
