Brilliant day with Ailsa. Together with a lot of other people we went for a walk through Breda, with a guide who told us a lot about the city and carnaval. There was loud carnaval music, people dressed up in silly costumes, schrobbeler, lots of laughs, some singing, a lot of talking with people about nothing really, a few drinks, and some amazing chocolate cake at the end of the day.

Best part of the day (and a first for me) was the fanfare playing carnaval songs in the big church. Such a weird combination of the church surroundings combined with carnaval music. It was brilliant, and I couldn't stop smiling.

We talked a bit with this guy during the walk, he was very funny and we both really liked his face, full of character.
