Beautiful Sunrise

It was a beautiful sunrise this morning, here is the orange version, the clouds were losing their vibrant red colour.  The extra is of the red sky, taken a few minutes before the orange sky.  The same photographer is in both photos.  Because I walked to the lake I clocked up quite a few steps before breakfast.

On my morning walk I met 'J' who had picked up a lot of walnuts.  So I headed to the tree at lunch time, and got quite a few too.  They are drying in front of the fire.

I am now going to collect Tween 'H' and take her to swimming, then my day's activities will be over.  

After such a brilliant sunrise it is now raining, with more rain in the forecast.  It isn't too cold, +12C
