Spring Greens Reflections

Waking early with the dawn, regaining even restless sleep eluded me and so I arose long before my usual time. Even more unusual, I headed out into the clear and calm fresh morning air with my camera.

Lit up by the rising sun, trees in full leaf and bright green reeds growing densely on the far shore reflected in an almost still lake surface. A strange experience for me and an unfamiliar view of a familiar subject.

The only difficulty I had with the image were the leaves hanging down from the foreground leaves. Those on the right were very dark and blocked up, those on the left too bright, merging with the far trees. Some of the dead branches were also too bright, but recoverable.
