Panic Over

So in the life of a five year old, it has been a traumatic 18 hours. His beloved Eric went missing yesterday, his disappearance became apparent at bedtime, which of course was highly emotional. As I said yesterday I ended up going back up to Banbury to look for him in car parks and outside shops. Steph posted something on a local community page on Facebook and her message was shared by a good number of people. At 11 o'clock last night I was woken by Steph to be told that the lady that manages the Next branch we had been in had seen the message and sent her a text to say he was safe and sound locked inside the store. An example of how Facebook has actually been very useful and set some minds at rest.

We were at the store before it opened so they could be re-united. He was very happy to see his little buddy again. Several moments of euphoria followed prior to the draw of his Android tablet and the games drew him back. Eric hasn't left his side so far though...
