I Lived, and Doing Well!

Ten days ago, (June 5) I blipped my Water Jasmine prior to it's being worked on.   This species of plant tollerates defoliating very well.  It was very well established as well, allowing it to be trimmed and root pruned.
Afterwards the little tree looked like a twig on a stump.( June 6)
Todays post is the same tree, 10 days later.  It has back budded, sent out leaves and growing a whole new canopy.  This is a very happy little tree.  I just moved it out from a sheltered area (to prevent sun stressing with our very strong summer sun) to a more direct, and longer sustained sun exposure.  It's not ready to back into the bonsai garden, yet.........
But, it's doing terrific!   This is the pleasure and passion of bonsai!
